On Monday, news broke that nearly 30 minutes of footage from Endgame had been leaked on Twitter and Reddit. According to CNBC, Disney has not responded to the leak, and no one is sure where it originated. To be clear, from this point on, writing about the stuff that’s leaked isn’t going to be good for anyone. From now until Friday, April 27, Fatherly will be on a spoiler blackout for Avengers: Endgame. So, if you’re tempted to go looking for the spoilers, you can, pretty easily, find all that stuff elsewhere. But, you know what Vision would do? Do you know what Hawkeye would do? Those dudes would avoid the spoilers. Which is what everybody should do right now, too. Listen, nothing can protect you from the onslaught of spoilers after the opening weekend for Avengers: Endgame. If you don’t get around to seeing the movie until like two weeks after it comes out, I oddly don’t have sympathy for you, and question why you’d be reading articles online about the Avengers at that point anyway. (This is kind of like people who were mad about Han Solo’s death being spoiled for them in February 2016.) The point? Right now, we can all be in a safe zone for another week and change if we want to be. Don’t let the people who leaked footage from Endgame win. Do these things right now. Finally, get your tickets ASAP, and behave in a manner that is, you know, appropriate for the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Avengers: Endgame is out everywhere on April 26, 2019.
