After Ralph is partially responsible for breaking the steering wheel consul of Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush, he comes up with a plan to save her game before it’s thrown out for good. Ralph and Vanellope sneak into the internet through the newly installed WiFi router to bid on the only Sugar Rush steering wheel in existence on eBay. Their journey through the Internet is full of easter eggs, commentary about the more ridiculous aspects of Internet culture and jokes about Disney. Because Disney went all-in on Internet culture, it’s not surprising that they’re trying to go viral again by having two extra clips after the credits begin to roll, which you definitely need to stick around for. One happens halfway through the credits and is an extension of a scene you might have seen somewhere else before. That’s all we’re going to say about that. No spoilers! The final post-credits scene is (kind of?) a hilarious sneak peek at a movie you’ve been wanting to get a glimpse at. It’ll have you in stitches. Neither of these clips suggest that there will be a third film for Ralph to wreck something in. After Disney explored the classic arcade game and the Internet, it’s not clear where else Ralph and Vanellope could go. Virtual Reality? We hope not. These characters are probably done breaking everything, but they certainly do go out with a bang. This one of Disney’s most ambitious films in a while. Ralph Breaks the Internet is in theaters November 21.
