Stevie Nicks joined in on the fun, lacing up her rollerblades while listening to the iconic track off of one of the most important rock albums of the 20th century. A new generation of teenagers were subsequently introduced to the album, forty years after their parents were, and now, as a result of that resurging fame, Rumours is back on the Billboard top 10 once again, 42 years after it’s release. Mick Fleetwood feels the vibes. Stevie, of course, had to join in. And of course, although it’s great that the album has hit the Top 10 again, it certainly wasn’t a necessity for the band. After all, when it was initially released over 40 years ago, it spent 31 consecutive weeks in the top album spot on the Billboard chart. It still is one of the best-selling albums of all time and has a 20x diamond certification from the RIAA. So while the meme has been mutually beneficial, for Nathan Apodaca, it may have actually changed his life.
