Nandi, from Ipswich, England, has been practicing her drumming skills since she was 6 years old. And in those three years, she’s become quite successful – she’s performed with Lenny Kravitz, has hung out with Questlove, and she’s been featured in an ad for a British retailer. She’s not your average run-of-the-mill 9-year-old, and her latest video proves this further. The tiny but mighty drummer recently uploaded a video of herself doing a cover of the 1991 Nirvana song “In Bloom,” and she is not playing around. You can tell her parents have spent hours of time listening to her practice because she’s a full-on expert at this point. The way she throws herself into every beat, not missing a single one, and the screams she adds into her performance – she’s a total star. In a clip of the video she posted to Twitter, the little star says Nirvana is in her “top 5 bands so far” and says she’s a big fan of Dave Grohl and School of Rock, which she says is “the best film in the world.” Watch her full performance of her “In Bloom” cover, and you’ll see why this likely won’t be the last time we see this star!
