When Can Babies Hear in the Womb? The inner ear structures begin to develop at around 10 weeks into gestation, but the ability to hear doesn’t occur until all the structures are essentially wired to the brain. Some researchers suggest that some fetuses may develop the ability to hear as early as 14 weeks, as measured by the reaction to sonic vibration. However, one of the most cited studies on fetal hearing, published in 1994 by researchers at the Queen’s University of Belfast, found that babies start hearing in the womb at around 19 weeks of gestation....

“Right now I’m pretty worried that we won’t have a vaccine available for kids by the start of next school year,” Evan Anderson, a pediatrician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and a professor at the Emory University School of Medicine, told the New York Times. It may not be safe for children to return to school until a vaccine is available for their age group. On Monday, news broke that nearly 30 minutes of footage from Endgame had been leaked on Twitter and Reddit. According to CNBC, Disney has not responded to the leak, and no one is sure where it originated. To be clear, from this point on, writing about the stuff that’s leaked isn’t going to be good for anyone. From now until Friday, April 27, Fatherly will be on a spoiler blackout for Avengers: Endgame....
