Disney Parks has announced the first ride based on Marvel’s Avengers is on the way and it sounds really fun. Called Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, the ride features several Marvel characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel. The official description reads: “Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is every thrill seeker’s dream. Here, recruits will be briefed by Iron Man, equipped with Mark 80 armor for his missions.” It goes on to say that recruits are also joined by “Captain Marvel herself on a mission through space in a vehicle Stark has equipped with a homing device, to lure this threat away from Earth....

Yesterday, retailers from major companies like Macy’s, The Gap, Kohl’s and Neiman Marcus also announced that they’d furlough many of their employees. Macy’s will furlough the majority of their 125,000 employees and Gap and Kohl’s have furloughed about 80,000 employees each. Gannett, the largest publisher of newspapers in the United States, announced plans to furlough many employees and cut pay across their offices around the country. These major furloughs are also happening in hospitality and across the airline industry....

Without spoiling the movie, we’re going to save you some time. There is not a post-credits scene for Joker. Yes, this movie is technically playing with the Batman mythos, but there’s no huge scene at the end in which Robert Pattinson’s new Batman steps out from the shadows or anything. This movie stands apart in a huge way. It’s not your average superhero movie, and it’s certainly not employing the most common trend of superhero movies with a post-credits scene....

Although there hasn’t been a universal student loan forgiveness program unveiled yet, the administration has made some significant moves to ensure more people qualify for federal programs like income-driven repayment (IDR) programs and public service loan forgiveness (PSLF). The first round of changes to the programs gave loan relief to 40,000 borrowers, and now, more changes proposed could see $85 billion in student loan cancelations. New proposals to overhaul federal student loan relief programs are coming....

Most of F9‘s big reveals came in the first trailer, as we were introduced to Jakob Toretto (John Cena), Dom’s estranged brother and the franchise’s newest villain. We also were already shown the return of Han (Sung Kang), an old member of Dom’s crew who we were led to believed died in Tokyo Drift. Hell, even Helen Mirren coming back as Shaw’s mom was shown in the first trailer. And in terms of plot, we basically just get exposition about Jakob teaming up with Cipher (Charlize Theron) to do something menacing to Dom and his crew, who will surely need to do a bunch of insane stunts in order to fight back....

In the original film, the Fairy Godmother is a sweet older white lady with grey hair who helps transform Cinderella our of her torn up dress and into one fit for the Royal ball. Porter is set to play this character in the remake, and they make the magic seem even more magical. “It hit me when I was on the set last week, how profound it is that I am playing the Fairy Godmother — they call it the Fab G,” Porter said to CBS News....

The Instagram posts began in the decade of the 2010s and have since been moving backward to celebrate different toys from different parts of each decade.
