Do Sugary Drinks And Soda Really Increase Risk Of Death

“These findings are consistent with the known adverse effects of high sugar intake on metabolic risk factors and the strong evidence that drinking sugar-sweetened beverages increases the risk of type 2 diabetes, itself a major risk factor for premature death,” said coauthor on the study Walter Willett in a statement, adding that soda taxes make sense “because the current price of sugary beverages does not include the high costs of treating the consequences....

Does Joker Have A Post Credits Scene Here S How Long To Wait

Without spoiling the movie, we’re going to save you some time. There is not a post-credits scene for Joker. Yes, this movie is technically playing with the Batman mythos, but there’s no huge scene at the end in which Robert Pattinson’s new Batman steps out from the shadows or anything. This movie stands apart in a huge way. It’s not your average superhero movie, and it’s certainly not employing the most common trend of superhero movies with a post-credits scene....

Dog Names How To Choose A Good Creative Name For Your Pet

After all, picking a cool, unique dog name for females, or males, is necessary. Max, Scout, and Bella are all too common. Steven and Mark are definitely not unique enough, and weird. There’s a lot to consider. And there are probably more considerations than you might have first thought, too. For instance, did you know that names with vowels are far better? Or that it’s best to avoid those with too many syllables?...

F9 Trailer Is Fast Furious Heading To Space Looks Like It

Most of F9‘s big reveals came in the first trailer, as we were introduced to Jakob Toretto (John Cena), Dom’s estranged brother and the franchise’s newest villain. We also were already shown the return of Han (Sung Kang), an old member of Dom’s crew who we were led to believed died in Tokyo Drift. Hell, even Helen Mirren coming back as Shaw’s mom was shown in the first trailer. And in terms of plot, we basically just get exposition about Jakob teaming up with Cipher (Charlize Theron) to do something menacing to Dom and his crew, who will surely need to do a bunch of insane stunts in order to fight back....

Fisher Price Vintage Toy Instagram Museum Brings Major Nostalgia Feels

The Instagram posts began in the decade of the 2010s and have since been moving backward to celebrate different toys from different parts of each decade. For example, the 2002 Battle Castle got a featured spot on the platform. The iconic toy (I dimply remember it from my childhood) featured light-up torches, cannons, and a working drawbridge. I can almost remember the near-constant commercials for it on Nickelodeon now. But not every toy is marketed towards 8-year-old boys....

Florida Says Pro Wrestling Is Essential Wwe Resumes Live Broadcasts

The change happened last Thursday, when a memorandum from Florida’s emergency management director added three new categories to the list of “essential services” in Gov. Ron DeSantis’s initial stay-at-home executive order, which took effect April 3. Urgent counseling (with appropriate social distancing) and the maintenance of theme parks, zoos, and aquariums (that must be closed to the public) make sense, and it doesn’t take much of a leap to see why these jobs should be added to the list....

Greatest Remote Controlled Race Car Video Games Of All Time

When we looked for the best RC racing video games, we limited the search to those released in or after the late 1980s. We selected based on track and car varieties, visuals, and overall fun; so games had to both look good and offer tracks that didn’t get too monotonous. And we didn’t stick to one gaming system, considering instead both console and PC games. In the end, these seven games led the pack....

Having The Sex Talk With My Son During A Season Of Social Distancing

This story was submitted by a Fatherly reader. Opinions expressed in the story do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Fatherly as a publication. The fact that we’re printing the story does, however, reflect a belief that it is an interesting and worthwhile read. Like many fathers, I was hesitant to have The Talk. I felt perpetually unprepared. Not just for the female physiology and fallopian schematics, but the broader discussion of sexual development and healthy, ethical, compassionate relationships....
